Eliminate the unneeded

Fellow speaker,

Take out the unneeded words in your speech.  For example, if in your speech you have written out "What is a favor worth to you?"  take out the unneeded words "to you" so it becomes "What is a favor worth?"  The "to you" is unneeded because the audience already knows you are speaking to them and doesn't need to be reminded of that.
