When giving interviews to the media (e.g., newspaper, television, radio, etc.) be careful:
- Taking your quote out of context - making your quote say something different from what you meant it to say
- Reporters with their own "agenda" - try to get your message to fit what they think it should say
- "Bait and switch" - reporter promises to interview you on one thing and then switches to a different topic when they are interviewing you
