What's the hold up?

Fellow speakers,

One thing you can do to make your speeches more interesting is to tell a "suspended story".   This is when you tell part of a story at the beginning of your speech and then finish the story at the end of your speech.  In order to make a good "suspended story", the story should be:
  • Suspenseful - people should want to know what is going to happen next
  • Brief - the story should be short and to the point
  • Simple  -people should be able to easily follow the story
Suspended,

Tim
