World Champion speaker Craig Valentine has several additional tips to make you more likable onstage:
- Create an event out of the environment (e.g., if the lights go out suddenly onstage say, "Guess I should have paid that electric bill!")
- Build off the audience - if someone makes a joke, build on it and work it into your speech
- Be available after the speech is over
