Fellow speaker,
When describing your character, give a verbal and visual indication of what they look like. Say something that tips the audience off about the character and do something in a gesture that the audience can see. For example, World Champion Speaker Craig Valentine has a Mr. Burly character who stands in a muscular-type of way. The "Mr. Burly" name gives a verbal hint and Craig's gestures onstage give a visual hint.
V-ed,
Tim
