If you decide to use a quotation to close your speech, World Champion Speaker Craig Valentine recommends:
- Read at least one book about the person you are quoting - comes in handy in case people want to talk to you about the quote after your presentation
- Use a quotation used earlier in the speech
- Let the audience finish the quotation
