To help your audience keep track of who is talking in your dialogues, use the character's name in the dialogue. For example if there are two characters in your story, Bob and Jim. and someone says, "Bob, you need to keep better track of your tools!" tells you that someone is speaking to Bob. So the person talking is Jim.
