- Hard "K" or "C" sounds (kin, kith, etc.)
- Twofers and threefers (two or three repeats of the same sound) (kiwi, crack, etc.)
- Onomatopoeia (words that sound like what they describe) (boom, splash, etc.)
- Tz sounds (klutz, spritz, etc.)
- End with a vowel (salami, buffalo, etc.)
