Fellow speaker,

If you are speaking at a conference with multiple events, your audience can feel trapped in your presentation if they decide that they aren't interested, but it would be too disruptive to leave.  To ease your audience's nervousness, you can announce at the beginning of your presentation, "You can leave if you decide that this topic is not for you."  This relaxes the audience and ensures that only people who are genuinely interested in your topic remain at the presentation.
