Fellow speaker,
If you want to get your entire audience on your side, convince the most difficult audience member of the value of your content. If you can sway that nay-sayer, the rest of group will fall right into line. However, be careful...if you spend your entire speech trying to convince that nay-sayer and you get nowhere with them, you risk losing the rest of your audience. So try to sway the nay-sayers...but if that isn't working, speak to the audience that IS enjoying your speech and focus your attention on them.
With a balanced approach,
Tim
